Need a fast way to customize your Clear-Com intercom buttons? I’ve got you covered.
I’m offering a free downloadable Microsoft Word template perfectly sized for the removable clear buttons found on popular Clear-Com Encore devices like the MS-702, RM-702, KB-702, KB-702GM, and MS-704 (also compatible with older models such as the PL Pro series ie: RM-220).
What’s Included:
- A Word document containing a 0.5” x 0.5” label grid
- 3 rows of 2 buttons each (ideal for quick swaps)
- Black background with white dummy text (“YOUR” / “TEXT”) that glows beautifully when backlit—orange (latched) or blue (standby), just like the real thing
- Ready to print on standard paper or label stock
- Easily customizable for channel labels, user names, or functions
How to Use:
- Open the .docx file in Microsoft Word (or compatible editor)
- Replace “YOUR / TEXT” with your custom label
- Print at 100% scale (no scaling)
- Cut with scissors or a ½” punch
- Insert behind the button cap – done!

Why It Works:
The MS-702 and its siblings use removable clear button caps with integrated LED rings. By using a black background with white text, your label becomes invisible when unlit—but pops to life when the button glows blue or amber, giving a clean, pro-grade look that’s readable even in the dark.
Whether you’re labeling channels, users, party lines, or cues, this template saves time and keeps your control panels looking sharp.
